Compassion Sunday
April 26, 2009 is Compassion Sunday. Barbara
Fabrey will present information about Compassion International. This
Christian child development ministry works to release children from
their spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty. You will be
given the opportunity to sponsor a child and change the world for
one hurting child. Your sponsorship of $32 per month provides
educational, social and health benefits through a local church in
the community where the child lives. You can develop a relationship
with the child through letter writing. Best of all, each child will
hear the gospel and have the opportunity to learn of God's love.
After church on April 26, 2009, please visit the sign-up table in
the fellowship hall and select a child who needs your
help! After Church refreshments will be served by the
Christian Fellowship Committee.
